Agave syrup comes from the agave plant, a succulent that is native to dry regions in Mexico. Agave Syrup predominantly consists of fructose and some glucose, along with water as well as small amounts of other carbohydrates, fats, vitamins and minerals.
The sugar in agave syrup comprises around 80% fructose and 20% glucose.
